Well, life has certainly changed since my last post. The vast majority of us are currently under Stay at Home orders. Gyld is headquartered in Ann Arbor, MI USA. We are holding tight as a community and hopefully the upcoming top of the spike will be manageable for our wonderful healthcare workers. Just east of us is Detroit and a localized epicenter - we here all have friends in this significant higher risk area, as well as family, friends, and/or colleagues in New York, California, Washington, and New Orleans. We pray a quick duration to get to the peak and decreasing new cases day on day...
While we might not be able to come together these days to enjoy playing around the table; Roll20, Discord, Zoom, etc. have seen a spike with us in-person tabletop RPG folks getting together virtually. I've converted the gaming table to a one person station - Zoom on the computer and 42 inches of map in front of my face. I hope that you are able to get together and play more often during this period - turn off the Johns Hopkins updates for a few hours, pour yourself a glass of your preferred beverage, and enjoy blasting a couple Hill Giants, putting down some Wights, or maybe even using that special arrow (you know the one) to take down that Ancient Red Dragon..!
